Sylvia Dahlgren is a California based painter and designer whose work explores the interplay of light and color of the natural landscapes of California as well as exotic places. With a career spanning more than two decades, her painting have been exhibited in galleries across the country.

Rooted in the traditional painting yet contemporary in her vision, Sylvia works primarily in oil and mixed media, often returning to the same location across different seasons and times of day to capture shifting moods.
Her studio is located in Morgan Hill, California, where she paints and leads painting and drawing workshops.
