About Martin Paul Mason
Martin Paul Mason creates mixed media works that sit between realism and abstraction. Drawing on landscape, portraiture, and cityscape, he builds layered surfaces using collage, acrylic, and pastel to capture atmosphere and presence.
My practice is driven by texture and contrast — structured forms meeting expressive marks, architectural lines softened by gestural movement. Each piece evolves through layering and reduction, revealing traces of process beneath the surface.
Over many years I have sold hundreds of original drawings and paintings to private collectors in the UK and internationally, building a loyal audience for my work through online sales as well as more traditional routes.
