About Hugh Henderson Art

Creating art is my way of understanding the world or excorsising a ghost. The subject can be challenging, maybe it's beautiful, maybe it's painful. Throughout the process of painting I will have a conversation with myself on the subject of the work. What does it mean to me ?, How do I feel about it ?. Eventually I come to terms with the subject of the painting and learn to live with it. It might take several paintings to reach that point.
