Wast Water

this was one of the places I wanted to get back to when we visited the Lake District for a few days, having been there briefly once before and encountered a lot of shadow on the background mountains. I realised that mid to late afternoon would probably give best chance of sunlit mountains and squeezed in a visit to Wast Water while on our way to our hotel. The timing didn't allow me very much 'shooting time', but I really like this one with the ripples on the water clearly visible. #treblebluephotography @canonuk #canon5dmkiv
