About Ann Fraser
Colour has been a part of my life from a very early age. I am always drawn to the excitement, emotion and freedom that colour can bring.
However, as life moved on my family naturally became my priority, and for many years my own creativity had to take a back seat.It was only once my children had grown did I take a two year course in Art and Design Foundation. This gave me the opportunity to explore different techniques, subjects and ideas, which I absolutely loved. My studies there led me on to a degree course in Design and Manufacture at London Guild Hall, focussing on fabric design. Unfortunately half way through I realised that the course was not for me, even though I was getting good grades. It was only after moving out of London that I found the time and space to return to art.
