This one from 2009 rattles around in my studio like loose change. So small, it fits snuggly in the palm of my hand. Something is rearing its head out of the dusky greens. It's one of 8 from a series collectively named Watermarks. A Polaroid but painting and far more thing-like, tactile, scratchy. Intended as situations from a forrest and swamp I know backwards, but it turned into something else. The process of painting won out... #miniatures #painting
