Vintage Ambiance cafe (@vintage_ambiance), 14x11”, acrylic on panel. . Finally finished. 12+ hours work, longer than the last one. This was a real challenge. Lots of loooong straight lines and small details. And trying to create depth in a relatively shallow scene. . When I started painting again in February of this year I never imagined I would produce something like this. I thought I’d stick to natural landscapes (which are much more forgiving) but I’m really pleased I pushed myself into this direction. I’m going to stick to the challenge of doing a whole series of shop fronts so expect more over the course of the year / I can complete one in about 2 weeks so hopefully I can do 4 more before Christmas.
