Winter
Winter is a small watercolor, just 3 by 4 inches, where I explored the interplay of deep reds, blues, and blacks set against softer areas of white. The composition moves with sweeping, gestural strokes that overlap with finer, almost scribble-like lines, creating a sense of energy and emotional tension. A solid black border frames the piece, grounding the vivid marks inside and focusing attention on the movement within. This work captures a moment of spontaneous expression where color and line come together with a quiet intensity.
